What is a VPS Cloud?
A VPS cloud is a VPS being built upon a Public Cloud infrastructure. It is NOT a VPS made from a single dedicated server but from multiple Compute nodes and Centralized storage which is extremely resilient and offer much more hosting features.
How and when will I have access to my VPS Cloud server?
Once you signup into our customer portal:
https://portal.globo.tech/access/signup our billing department will review the order and once approved, you will be able to create your VPS cloud (instance) within seconds.
Are all VPS Cloud server are compatible for my needs?
A VPS Cloud server will provide you IT resources (CPU, RAM, Storage capacity, storage performances (IOps) and bandwidth. As long as you have the right OS and right environment (for example, PHP versions, MySQL or MSSQL, Easy apache, Litespeed, IIS etc…) for your applications/3rd party software, and that you have enough IT resources to run your project, you will be able to use any VPS Cloud server.

What are the guarantees you offer with the VPS Cloud services?

How many IPs do you offer with a VPS Cloud server?
By default, we offer 1 usable IP (IPv4) with our VPS Cloud servers.
How do you charge for VPS Cloud?
The VPS Cloud services is charged per hour at the end of your monthly billing cycle. As this service is extremely flexible, you will only pay for what you will use.
What’s the minimum term can I have the Cloud VPS services?
As we charge per hour, there’s no minimum term of usage.
Can I upgrade or downgrade my Cloud VPS server?
There’s 2 types of upgrade that you will be able to do using this services which can be achieved within seconds:
1- CPU+RAM+Storage upgrade: This will as described, increase the server CPU, numbers of GB RAM reserved for your instance and increase the storage size capacity.
Important note: You will not be able to downgrade storage size once it’s upgraded. Which leads us to the second upgrade possibility.
2- Upgrade only CPU+RAM (NO STORAGE UPGRADE): This will only resize the CPU and numbers of GB RAM reserved for your instance. As you don’t upgrade the storage, you will be able to downgrade to the original CPU/RAM package you had prior to the upgrade.

Which payment options are you accepting for VPS Cloud Services?
We accept major credit cards (Mastercard, Visa and Amex) which is not prepaid.
Do you offer licenses such as cPanel/WHM, Plesk, Direct Admin, Windows Server OS licenses?
Yes we do, all licenses will need to be prepaid monthly and will be invoiced separately from the VPS Cloud servers. We do also offer additional licenses such as MSSQL, Imunify360, Litespeed, Softaculous, R1Soft licenses and many more. Contact our sales team for further informations
I need a custom setup with more then one server, is it possible?
Yes, you will be able to create your own infrastructure and you will have access to your own vlan in order to create you server clusters. Various setups can be created and our team will be able to assist you creating your own setup that will suit your project needs. Please contact our sales team for more informations.
Does GloboTech Communications offer migration assistance?
Yes, we do. We take migration very seriously and once request, we send a questionnaire that our clients fulfilled that provide us with many important information’s concerning the upcoming migration. An audit is also required so we have all the information’s needed on hand to help you with the migration into your new dedicated server.
Where is my server hosted?
All our VPS Cloud servers will be hosted in a state-of-the-art data center located in Montreal, Québec, Canada.
Do you offer managed backup services for your VPS Cloud services?
Yes we do. We do recommend external backup solutions which are managed by our team. We do offer daily incremental disaster recovery solutions where we can restore any files and folders. You can review our many different options here:

Do you offer firewall for your VPS Cloud services?
We do offer Security groups which will allow you to allow and block specific Incoming Port/Protocol.
What’s a vlan and how will I be able to use it?
A vlan is your own virtual lan which will be provided for free when the account is completed. This will allow internal traffic between your instances (VPS Cloud).
What is OpenStack?
We created our public cloud infrastructure using OpenStack which is the leading Open Source Cloud Platform in the world.
Can I do snapshots of the instance(s) that I will have?
Yes, we do offer snapshots feature that will take a complete image of the server and you would be able to recreate a server from that snapshot. Please note: It should not be considered as a backup service. We do offer a daily incremental managed backup service where we will be able to restore any files/folders within the restoration points/archive points that we will have.
